THE MINIMAL GUITAR
“The Minimal Guitar” is a concept for live music stages. The idea is simply minimalistic music, live on four guitars.
Minimalism as a musical genre is both simple and complex. On one hand it´s repetitive and easy to grasp, on the other it´s diverse, full of contrast, colour and emotion. The guitar is an instrument where sound and tone colour makes all the difference. The combination of four individual instruments playing this music together creates a sonorous landscape, in which both harsh energetic beats and contemplative beautiful melodies plays a part.

The Visual Minimal Guitar
Minimal music goes well with visuals. In this project we have collaborated with artists creating a live music show containing visual elements. During the Minimal Guitar concert, a series of abstract and playful video animations are projected onto the stage. The quartet and the stage back-drop act as a living cinema screen accompanying the live music, adding expression and atmosphere to the performance.
